Albion expands marketing team

Albion Valves (UK) Ltd, one of the UK’s leading valve suppliers, is delighted to announce that they have taken on a new apprentice to join their marketing team.

This year, Albion has utilised the Apprenticeship Scheme to expand to their marketing team. It is with great pleasure that Albion is able to introduce you to the newest member of the team – Nicole Sanderson.

Nicole had recently finished studying a Level 3 diploma and extended diploma in Digital Media at Barnsley College and was ready to enter the working world. When the vacancy at Albion arose, she saw it as an excellent opportunity to apply her education in a working environment whilst also continuing to build upon her marketing knowledge.

Nicole’s role will be to assist the Marketing Manager, Jodie Seymour, in promoting the Albion brand amongst distributors, contractors, and consultants, through a range of marketing channels including digital, more traditional methods, and events.

Nicole comments “I wanted an Apprenticeship so that I can learn while I’m working and when I found this opportunity I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me! So far, I am enjoying my time at Albion, the job role is exciting, and everyone is friendly. I am looking forward to the rest of my Apprenticeship.”

Jodie Seymour, Marketing Manager, comments “It is great to welcome Nicole to the team. The growth that Albion has seen in recent years has meant that the marketing functions became particularly stretched so this extra resource will benefit the whole supply chain as we focus on creating resources for our customers and building the Albion brand in the marketplace. Nicole’s existing marketing knowledge sets her in good stead to hit the ground running, and as she builds upon this with her Level 3 in Multi-Channel Marketing, it will only increase our marketing activity.”
