Further to the communication released in August 2023 outlining David Keys’ intentions to retire as Managing Director of Albion Valves (UK) Limited on the 31st March 2025, it is with great pleasure that we can announce the successful transition of this role to Darren Baxter, and therefore, from today, 1st April 2025, Darren Baxter is the new Managing Director of Albion Valves (UK) Limited.
As you may know, Darren is a longstanding employee of Albion Valves (UK) Limited, racking up an impressive 20 years of service, from starting as a Trainee Commercial Manager in 2005, and working through the ranks to reach Managing Director, he is quite the success story.
Although David is retiring as Managing Director, it is not goodbye from him. He will become Chairman for Albion Valves (UK) Limited, providing support for the Board of Directors, and will remain Managing Director of Albion Valves (International) Limited, looking after our business in the Middle East.
David Keys comments “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that I have had the pleasure of knowing over my 30 years at Albion. The changes I have seen at Albion have been phenomenal, and none of this would have been possible without you. Going forward, Albion has further growth plans and I hope you continue to show Darren the same level of support, loyalty, and dedication that you have shown to me over the years.
I still hope to see you around, but until then, please be assured I am leaving you in very safe and capable hands!”
